How to delete Snapchat Memories in bulk

The tool needs the Memories ZIP from Snapchat. You request it once:
- Sign in at accounts.snapchat.com and open My Data.
- Under Select data to include, turn on Export your Memories (add the JSON files if Snapchat offers them), pick the date range, confirm your email, then submit.
- Snapchat emails you when the ZIP is ready. Download every ZIP part.
- Come back here and drop them. Nothing leaves your browser.
Snapchat says it aims to deliver within 7 days; big accounts can take longer.
The delete Snap publishes
- Finish a My Data download you can open. How to download Snapchat Memories. Snap’s missing Memories article says deleted Memories cannot be recovered.
- Swipe up from the Camera screen to open Memories.
- Press and hold the Snap you want gone.
- Tap Delete.
That is the whole article. It does not say “select all,” and it does not say the library can be cleared in one confirmation.
What the selector is for
Snap’s download article says you can tap the Memories selector, tap more than one Snap, and export that selection. The Story article uses the same selector, then Create. Both articles stop at export or a Story. Neither one is a bulk-delete procedure, so this page will not invent the extra taps.
If your version of the app shows a delete action on a selection you made, you are still choosing those Snaps. You are not pressing a control Snap has documented as “delete everything.”
Export, then decide
People delete to get under the free allowance. The allowance is the 5GB storage limit. Deleting is permanent on Snap’s side even when a ZIP on your computer still has the pictures. The ZIP is not deleted by the app, and the app is not backed up by deleting the ZIP.
The gigabytes in iPhone or Android settings are a different pile: the app, a ZIP saved on the phone, and camera-roll duplicates. That cleanup is Reclaim phone storage after the export is on a computer. Do not start it by deleting Memories you have not opened from a file.
Common questions
How do I delete all Snapchat Memories at once?
Snap’s delete article does not describe a delete-all control. It describes press and hold on one Snap, then Delete. Repeat that for each Snap you mean to remove.
Can deleted Snapchat Memories be restored?
Snap’s missing-Memories article says lost or deleted Memories cannot be recovered, and that Support cannot restore them. The servers erase a deleted Snap. Export a copy you can open before you delete.
Does deleting Memories free storage?
Deleting Snaps removes them from Memories on the account. That is separate from the Snapchat app’s size on the phone. Freeing the phone is a different job, after the export is already on a computer.
Will this site delete them for me?
No. The tool only reads a ZIP you already downloaded. It cannot sign in to Snapchat or remove Snaps from the app.
