If you skipped “JSON files” in My Data, we can still date files from the YYYY-MM-DD prefix at noon UTC. Turn JSON on next time you export if you want time-of-day and GPS.

Fields we read

Matching prefers the same calendar day and media type, then the closest timestamp. Ambiguous GPS (two rows, same second, different coordinates) is omitted rather than guessed.

After a restore, check where a photo was taken confirms the GPS landed in the JPEG. If you are about to post or send that file, remove EXIF before sharing so the location does not travel with the copy.
